KLambda/ is the canonical Shen S42 kernel source.

Every Windows build runs tools/gen_compiled_kernel.py first. That generator reads the
14 KLambda kernel files and rewrites src/c/compiled_kernel.c. TinyCC then compiles
that generated C into shen-c.exe.

At startup Shen-C loads the KLambda definitions for complete semantics and then overlays
all 686 named kernel defuns into native C entry points. Anonymous closures created by
lambda/freeze/trap-error, direct self recursion, or computed operators remain interpreted.

To upgrade the kernel: replace KLambda/, then rebuild. Do not edit compiled_kernel.c.
